The honey we sell comes from our own hives.  We run just over 200 hives spread throughout central PEI.  Our bees forage on a variety of floral sources such as blueberry blossoms, dandelion, white clover, buckwheat, goldenrod, aster and numerous wild flowers all over PEI.

Our extraction process involves removing the wax cappings from the honey frames and spinning the honey out of the comb with an extractor.  The honey is then left to settle in a large holding tank while any wax or debris will then float to the top leaving the honey unfiltered, pure and natural with minimal heat treatment.  We do not let our honey temperatures rise above 35C to maintain a raw and unpasteurized product.

When you buy direct from our farm, you are buying local.  Our bees are important to us and we take extra special care to keep them alive throughout the spring, summer, fall and winter months.
